The Welin Company was founded by the Swedish inventor Axel Welin 1901, and already 1912, about 4000 sets of lifeboatdavits were delivered to different type of vessels, among them "TITANIC".

With all the experience we have gathered and with the innovative atmosphere that is still the trademark of the company, we continue to develop and supply deck equipment for safety and convenience of sailors and ship owners around the world.
